    Adaptively navigating our social worlds

    Bio: 

    Oriel FeldmanHall is the Alfred Manning Associate Professor of Cognitive, Linguistics, and Psychological Sciences at Brown University. She received her B.A. in Biopsychology from Cornell University and her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Cambridge University. Her lab studies the neural basis of human social behavior, with a focus on morality, altruism, trust, and reciprocity. She has won numerous awards, including the Cognitive Neuroscience Society Young Investigator Award for outstanding contributions to science, the Association for Psychological Science Janet Taylor Spence Award for Transformative Early Career Contributions, and the American Psychological Association Distinguished Scientific Award for Early Career Contribution to Psychology.
