    Location: 46-3002 (Singleton Auditorium)

    Speaker: Vikaas Sohal, M.D., Ph.D.
Affiliation: Professor, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, University of California, San Francisco

    Host: Dr. Linlin Fan

Talk title: prefrontal network dynamics during social behavior and in neurodevelopmental disorders

Abstract: I will discuss two lines of work of work from our laboratory. First, I discuss how social information is encoded by neuronal ensembles in the prefrontal cortex, how this differs in male and female mice, and how this is altered in mouse models of autism. Second, I will provide an update on our laboratory's work on gamma oscillations, including how this relates to mouse models of neurodevelopmental disorders.
