MIT Open House
Description
Did you know that MIT was located in Boston until 1916? The Institute will commemorate the establishment of its home in Cambridge one century ago with academic and celebratory programming in the spring of 2016. Festivities will include a special centenary exhibit at the MIT Museum, music and theater arts performances, and events—including the Open House—that welcome members of the MIT community, our neighbors, and friends. The Institute hosted its most recent Open House during MIT's sesquicentennial in 2011, and the event drew more than 20,000 visitors. The MIT150 website illustrates what we hope to achieve again in 2016. During the 2016 Open House, visitors of all ages will be invited to explore campus and experience many of the interesting activities taking place here at MIT.
