    Description

Title: Collecting Human Behavioral Data Online

Description: We are entering a new era of behavioral research in which the internet enables rapid, large-scale data collection from diverse populations. This shift opens up powerful new opportunities for studying human behavior with greater reach and statistical power than ever before.

This session will introduce the kinds of human data that can be collected online. It will then cover several options for setting up internet-based experiments, followed by an overview of the participant recruitment platform Prolific, including practical tips and best practices. The session will conclude with guidance on saving and storing the data you collect.

Background needed: No background knowledge is expected.

Use the BOOST web portal to register and participate. Sessions are monthly and limited to 25 participants. Pizza will be provided.
